Ah, so now we see more of Rebecca. I'm interested to see how this is going. IMHO, I would have thought her an utterly hopeless case, but you're successfully breaking the ice in this story. Interesting that Bex should shout and scream at Warren and Cyke, but not Betts - but then, betts does have the power of the mind, and there's nothing like a woman's touch, right? ;)

One criticism I would make though. I'm not sure how long this is after the incident in the Bronx, but I'd think betts would be spending way more time trying to recuperate than trying to reason with her daughter. But maybe you've addressed this in other fics? I shall plough on :)

Other than that, it was - as always - nicely written. I can't fault the flow of your storytelling in this one. Keep up the good work.
