Twin chopsticks. XD

I like this fic- i did ballet for 9 years, since i was three until i was eleven... i quit before i got 2 do point because it turned out my dance teacher was stealing money from her employer for another job, and that employer happened to be my dad... not good... she also got in a huge car accident and wuz in the hospital for months... that wuz almost 4 years ago- now i'm a spots-and-gymnastics kid through and through (i did gymnastics as well as dance, but more dance)... anyway, reading this fic makes me wish i did ballet again... I'd probably be doing duets by now... very nice! I luved it! Superb... sorry about all the history of my life!:D

A good story, but could have been developed a bit more. Couple grammatical errors, but not too many. Good job.

What an interesting idea. I never would have thought to throw ballet into the mix...especially with the stoic Aoshi. Misao I can imagine as the bouncy, bubbly dancer who loves to twirl to the music. Aoshi...on the other hand...is a man who you'd think would rather jump off a cliff than don a pair of pasty tights.

But, he'd do it for Misao. I think this simple action you portray of his says a lot about his hidden character.

One of my favorite aspects of the story is the way you gradually unveil the broken past of Aoshi. It adds depth to the characters and their personalities. The flashbacks expose the true sacrifice it is for Aoshi to put aside his deadly 'toothpicks' and done pair of innocent ballet slippers. The dynamic between certain characters - like Misao and Kaoru - is very nice, too. And the imagery you convey with the words 'duet of moonlight' is splendid.

Overall, great idea - great execution of that idea - and great ending. And not overly sappy to where you want to roll your eyes and walk away from the computer screen with knots of nausea in your stomach. Just right, I say. *grins and gives thumbs up*
