Stories like this are difficult to pull off, mainly because most writers tend to stretch into AU territory, but you have proven you're above
distorting the original storyline. In fact, you've clearly shown you don't need to change anything, instead your skill lies within extending the emotion in the show. There's no new ideas brought in, just the one the series allows us to see, however with the careful use of dialouge and first person narrative, the feelings of Rachel are further explained and the reader indulges in these little thought bubbles.

Everything from the first chapter to the last one feels organic and at home. The pregnany hormones are fully active, and sometimes used as a clever scapegoat (that is SO Rachel), while she (as you point out respectfully) knows what her heart wants but has time reasoning it within her head. In end, everything works out, just like in the finale. The use of the word "finally" feels like a warmful, sweet sigh that all the audience let escape when our favorite couple was reuinted.

There was a few musings missing, noteable "The One Where Joey Speaks French" ("With us, it's never off the table") and "The Last One", particularly her departing from the plane. Still, cohesive and quality writings keeps the story solid and beautiful at the same time. Overall, the story does far more than it's title suggest.

Well, I've already said how wonderful and well-written and how exceptionally _Rachel_ this fic is, and you have no shortage of accollades, so, having finally read the whole story, let me just say the following:
Write original fiction.
Seriously. You're a great writer with a strong, solid style--it's got that mark of honesty that I think all good fiction has. If you can write as well about your own characters and plotlines as you can about "Friends", you can write stuff that people would pay for, or at least do well to pay for.
And in the meantime, I would do well to check out some of your other works!

I love this story. It's well designed, well written, and very enjoyable. Your depiction of Rachel's thoughts is very conceivable as well. I could definitely picture her really thinking those things. You're a very strong first-person POV writer.

i loved the ending.. you didnt make it seem fake.. like putting them together after emma was born.. you let it be played out the way that it did on the show.. and it was a great way to end this story.. you did such a great job... i cant wait for your next stories.. but this story was great.. i really loved how you made it rachels pov... it put a different spin on the story.. really sad that this was the last chapter.. but it was great
