This chapter is easily one of the best chapters I've ever read in this story. Very romantic, touching, and is well thought out. But there are things that disturbs me: First, how come the queen can guess that the two are in love? She never leaves the throne. Just wondering how come she can figure it out of mere reports... Secondly, about the flashback. I personally think that it might be better if you expose a bit more on how Clair and Nel got along when they were still in the training, and the idea of Clair joining the military, but not wanting to kill people, as well as Nel's opinion about her friend at the flashback. The flashback itself is good, but I somehow feel that it is still lacking the background to support it. Aside from those, this chapter is flawless and enjoyable. Great work. Waiting long for such a chapter to come out is never hurt.

Ack, almsot fergot! I read the list of couples you'd be interested in writing. I'd like to see a TynavexFarleen, actually. Sounds pretty interesting... That'd be so nice if u could type a RikkuxPaine fic. I have the same opinion about those two...

This one was just perfect. I already thought it was sounding like a proposal when Clair said: "So... will you take my hand, Nel Zelpher?" but Nel said it just as nicely

Great story. One of the best fan fics I've ever read that was based on a PS2 a game. You took your time to explain things and build up the momentum of the story. The flashbacks were pretty neat.

Clair and Nel has a bit too much emotional connection for their first meeting. Love at the first sight? I have this bit of doubt that children at their age have it. Anyway, I like this chapter, especially the flashbacks. They're nice, and your writing is amazing as always. Keep up the good work.

Mirage and Maria? That's interesting. I've never thought about it, because they hardly interacted in the game from what I recall. But now you got me interested.

This chapter was really sweet and cheesy, but in a good way. I liked the flashbacks because now we know who Nel and Clair got to know each other and how they became so close, but not. The added backstory definitely helps, although you put it in a bit late.

A very good chapter, though I'm not sure I'm a fan of the Maria/Mirage pairing you mentioned. I never saw any potential for the two of them during the game like I did for Clair/Nel, but then that's just me. My other possible concern was the flashback scene, of four y/o Nel and Clair. It seemed a bit much that Nel and Clair's first meeting seemed to have a bit too much emotional connection that they would share later. But again, that's just me. Other than that, your story is soundly written as always, and you do an amazing job portraying the emotions and feelings these women have for one another. Overall, great job.

Wow...I'm so behind on reviews. A great chapter as always. You really do a marvelous job working on the emotions of the two women, and as I said, I always thought there was more to their relationship then just "friends". I particularly loved the ending, the kiss was written perfectly, describing how much they need each other but not crossing the line into porno-kiss that I'm sure a lot of hentai minded guys would like. You wrote it just right and that's a scene that really made this story stand out. Great job, and I can't wait for more.

Loved the staring part, I like this uncontrollable part of Clair

As usual, you write beautifully, and I have no other word to describe that. This chapter is very emotional. What's more, the emotion is very well-described, I must say.

But something is bothering me...first, I think Nel is too 'fluent' in retelling her nightmare...I mean, it's like she told it in a casual manner (that's what I think. Compare it with the way Nel retold her nightmare to Clair in Chp. 1 - I like it better). Secondly, the part when they're parting in the end, I feel it too plain. It feels as if Nel is just going to go on her another 'usual' mission, not to fight something, say, 'awesome'.

Perhaps I put too much of demand here. If that's so, I apologize. It's a good chapter, nevertheless, and I like it. Keep up the great work.
