Excellent! You really captured the personalities of Faramir and Gimli as I remember them, not only from the books but also from the movies. Well done!

This is a very sweet story. I really liked it alot. Please do more Faramir stories.

I enjoyed this very much. You conjured some great images...Faramir focusing away from the tombs...only touching the pillow and not the crown. Everything emphasizing his feeling that the Stewards and himself are unworthy and beneath the King.

It's a bit of a shame that this a one shot. Having Gimli reflect on what Faramir said is such the perfect opening for a dialogue between them.
Friendship between these two is very rarely explored and would be intriguing.

Very good story, I like how you have written Faramir, and the thoughts of the death of his father, and of the crown of kings.

This is a nice blending of book and movie! I especially like, "he wears Kingship without the crown. That is the mark of a true King."
