A most wonderful bit of fanfiction.

I most enjoyed the way you show Odin, and how he becomes "corrupted by power," or so it would seem...because in all parts of the world ruled by monarchy, such is always the worry. A great monarch can be far greater than any democracy, and in such times, peace can truly reign...but as we all know, few enough of them have ever existed, and most end up making tyrannical decisions, if not being completely dictators themselves. It's a sad thought...but completely accurate, and I thought you built the scene well.

The Rosa/Cecil/Kain part was interesting too. To see them as childhood friends was a bit of brilliance, in my opinion, and really shows how the three can be so close, even throughout the game. Their "history" part was well done...nice work!

I would like to see some... nice in game um...Cecil/Rosa fics from you _;; You just right so well... and you have Cecil's character so...well.. you make him sound much much better than Squall!

Wow. This story is absolutely fabulous! It fits in so well with FFIV's storyline! Such emotions! I nearly cried when Aelia died... and I started screaming at my monitor for her death... (') Gosh, you're a great writer!

Wow! That was good! That gives a great detail on Rosa's life. This has to be one of the best stories I've ever readf. You have talent. You could become a writer and earn a lot of money! This story is so good, I won't put my complaint. Not to you, though. Well, I'll keep my eyes open for one of your other fanfics. Good-bye!

I read this whole thing a while back, and I never reviewed it. Today I was surfing FF.Net again and wondered why. So let me just say that this is no less awesome than the other stuff you write. Which means that it is incredibly good. As for Rosa, I think you're right. The most common word in her vocabulary might be "Cecil", but she is definitely beyond the Princess Toadstool phase of lying around and simply being rescued all the time. I think Rinoa of FF8 is much worse. And it's always super to do stories from PoVs that people don't normally use. Another awesome piece from Themis56!

That was great! I think that it's the best story I've ever read. It took me about 3 hours to read it, I wonder how long it took you to write it. Rosa seemed kinda sad when she was visiting Aelia's statue, though. Oh well, I liked it. There's finally a story mostly about Rosa!

Ah, backstory, my favorite form of fanfiction. This is backstory as it should be told, rich and detailed and eventful enough to paint a full and convincing picture of a game character in the making. Here, we get to see how Rosa becomes the person we meet in the game, all wrapped up in an engrossing story. I like that you took your time telling this. The tale is all the more interesting for it. And I like that we get to see Rosa more fully than we usually get to see her, as merely an accessory in a simple romance, or a character study of Kain or Cecil. And I mostly like that you presented the story in finished form, a rarer and rarer thing to see. Very enjoyable, very entertaining read.

I liked this story. My favorite part was when Rosa fell in luv with Cecil on the rooftop. That was the best! The only thing I didn't like was when aunt Aelia got killed. How sad. But this story's great! (I think it's better than the game)
