It's such a beautiful story and I've read it at least 10 times. I definitly added it to my Favorites List. It's very sad, too. I hope you write more. You're very good as it is and I'm anxiously waiting for more Severus/Harry stories.

one-shots are harder than a novel length fic to write, fitting a story into a few words. you have managed this with what looks like ease. it was my first fic today, and it sets the pace.

There were so many things about this I liked. The way that Harry went to Snape, and he was an adult 'sound mind and body' and then he cried and he wasn't quite a child but he was younger - I'm not really sure what I mean, but it was perfect in that it was imperfect.

The lines of the poem throughout was very erie, I could just see Snape saying it as he tried to kill Voldemort.

And that last line, 'you followed' well, I still have tears on my cheeks and that's the best praise I can give.

In don't know if I should be sad or happy...I'll go with just plain awe. That was great!

Everything about this story's so heart achingly beautiful. It's sad, but there's so much love.
Like Voldemort observed.. Severus screaming for Harry when he wouldn't do for his own pain. (of course, V didn't seem to see it in exactly the same light as I did. I think he saw it as a weakness... I don't think he knows much of love, what with being an abused orphan who grew up to be a dark lord.) But then, what could be more painful than losing your heart?
I love that they are together, and will be together for always. (overly sentimental, I know. :))

I know I'm probably repeating myself. But I read the story again today, and well, I still love this story just as much.. So wanted to leave a review. Oh, I almost forgot. I like this Harry. He seems very much grown up.

The last image stays with you long after you finish reading the story.

Stunning. I'm not into slash much myself, but the... essence of this story forced me to read it. *sigh* Nice transition from past memories to present going ons, no confusion or anything on my part. The demise of Death Eaters and Voldemort, the backround story fed to us slowly... very well blended! G'job! ^_^
