Fortunate Mistress 2008-01-11 . chapter 1I enjoyed reading this. Well done - especially the letters at the end & the way Polly ended her letters explained by Tom.
Keep it up! |
kuasimodo28 2007-06-14 . chapter 1Having just finished Fire and Hemlock, I was sadly disappointed in the lack of Tom/Polly action. Loved how you captured their relationship! Good job. More please! :) |
shiiki 2007-03-02 . chapter 1This is fantastic! I thought you got a very good grasp of Tom's character and his thoughts. The letters at the end were humourous. |
runningondreams 2005-07-12 . chapter 1Hallo, I would just like to say that I love Diana Wynne Jones, especially Fire and Hemlock and Hexwood, and congratulations on you fanfics. It`s nice to see some FH work around here, and I enjoyed reading them. They`re...understated. There`s more to them than what is actually said, and I like that.
Your list of favorite books includes some(read:a lot) of mine, so I thought I might suggest some reading for you. The Perilous Guard, by Elizabeth Marie Pope, is a Tam Lin story that was recently re-ublished after going out of print (another of her books, The Sherwood Ring, is also a good read). Tithe (can`t remember the author, I think the last name is Black)is a sort of modern day retelling of Tam Lin, with a twist and some English faerie folklore thrown in. Not the nice, flitty, made-of-light- fairies you understand, but the more traditional Faerie Courts and careful-of-your-words-vindictive-and-don`t-like-mortals-live-in-the-hill faeries. If you like those sorts of stories (the not-so-nice-faeries kind), I`d suggest the Ill Made Mute and it`s sequals, by Dart-Thornton (I think). Good books. And once again, keep up the goos work with previously unexplored genre @.@

Ninde 2005-02-14 . chapter 1 I've read just about all your Fire and Hemlock one-shot fanfictions, and I must say that I found all of them very enjoyable. As you asked in one of them: (cannot remember which) the answer is Yes, you do live up to the title. (Or at the very least, I think that you do...) It makes me sad when I notice how very few F-H fanfictions there are out there, and being able to read ones done as well as yours is truly a treat for me! |
Windborn 2005-01-27 . chapter 1Beautiful story! And the song suits it perfectly. Many kudos!! |
 Ever1 2004-12-26 . chapter 1Fire & Hemlock! :D:D:D:D Muchly likies, I honour you for attempting to tackle a VERY difficult book...:P Lol... |
hljhhhh 2004-12-05 . chapter 1Wow this is really good... I'm intimidated :) this is probably my favorite out of your F&H fics. applause! |
Rowana S 2004-12-05 . chapter 1I loved both of the fanfics you've uploaded. It's nice to see mire fire and hemlock stuff being put up! Both fics are very well written, and very in character. Are there more to come? |
 CarminaBurana1 2004-12-05 . chapter 1really good |
beckythorn13 2004-12-04 . chapter 1 This is quite good! You seem to have quite a taste for Fire and Hemlock work. It's very refreshing! Keep up the good work! |
froth-onion 2004-12-04 . chapter 1Yes! Fire and Hemlock fanfic! I'm impressed. Though this story was incredibly sentimental, it was still good.
Nobody ever writes Hexwood fanfics either...*hint hint hint* |
Gilded Lily 2004-12-04 . chapter 1Argh! *dies* You totally rock, and I'm serious. I was saying just last night to a friend that I would build a shrine to whomever wrote a F&H fic. So do you prefer marble or alabaster? *g* Seriously, nice job. In chacter which is hard with our dear Mr. Lynn (He's prickly to write) And I love the letters at the end. Their letters *must* be something else.
I have only one demand: more! Now! *g* |
