i LOVED your characterization of glinda here and the irony that this is a very deep concept, she is always stating that she does not think all that deeply. also, the tension - the fact that, as always, elphaba is torn, yet always on a path to discovery, to try and reconcile the whys and hows of all things and how this all relates to their relationship was very interesting and well explored. the last bit, about elphaba being able to argue her way out of any situation was particularly excellent, especially coupled with the last line.
