Is it sad that even after three years I come back to check for updates on this marvelous fanfiction? But, what can I say, I loved the characterization, plot, and writing style.

I don't knpw if it is a couinsidence that you chose that name or of you knew before anyone else or even if you had the power to see the future but it is eirry how close the nomen name you gave Yami was to his real name. Also, your fic is superbe.

Since you disabled PMs, I have to do this in order to reply to your reply to my review on someone else's story.

Keep in mind that in this episode, Tony is the "first in command" for the first time in two seasons. Tim is once again used to answering directly to Gibbs. He didn't do what he did to intentionally spite Tony or Gibbs. It's more likely that he did it because no matter what Gibbs' rules say as far as putting Tony in charge of that case, Gibbs would still have to read/sign off on any paperwork for the case because he is still the leader of the MCRT. When Tony was Tim's "only boss, no ifs, ands or buts for *months*", there was no Gibbs. It is ignorant to think that Tim's instict reporting to Tony when Gibbs is there. Gibbs is, and always will be, Tim's first real boss with NCIS, and as such Tim will always hold him in higher regard since he was never at the same status as him. Your argument is also flawed because Gibbs was neither absent nor incapacitated during this episode, and for reasons that I have already stated, Tim would go directly to Gibbs.

Secondly, I'm 99% sure that when Gibbs said "I asked my senior field agent" he was just trying to make Tony feel better.

And you certainly can't use Gibbs' apparent knowledge of "chain of command" as an argument because you would then have to disregard every time that Gibbs disobeyed an order given to him by Director Shepard. Basically, you would have to ignore seasons 3-5, which clearly doesn't work for you since you have already referenced episodes that occurred during those seasons.

Finally, I fail to see why so many people seem to be against Tim having a personality. It doesn't make much sense to me that you don't have an issue with Tony assuming some of Gibbs traits (Hiatus onward), but Tim getting some confidence is a problem.

Overall, I'd have to say that I don't really understand why you decided that it was important that you had to nitpick my opinion of someone else's story. I have already discussed the issues in my review with the author, and I don't really see why you felt the need to get involved. Nevertheless, I respect that you have your own opinion and I am going to repectfully disregard everything that you told me.

Have a nice day.

This story is really excellent! The historical intricacies, the interesting (and original plot)... It has all the makings of a fabulous story, fan fiction or otherwise. I'm crushed that it seems you've decided not to complete it.

This is absolutely AMAZING! I don't have enough words to describe how fantastic I think this. I love that it has actual history and not just fairy tale crap that I keep finding. I'm really hoping that you update soon because I cannot wait for more of this story! The plot is so intriguing!

I really hope you eventually take this on, your research adds authenticity to the parts you have to get creative with. Their relationship is a slow burn too which makes it much more interesting to watch evolve. Thanks for this and I look forward to the conclusion!

There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best stories I have ever read. I prefer the ancient egypt chapters to the modern ones somewhat, though both modern and past ones are equally amazing and imaginative.
The ideas you have used in this story leave me gobsmacked, because they are so unique and strong, it's really wonderful to read. As I read each paragraph I can imagine what the characters are doing, thinking, the setting, and their feelings.
All I can say is, I can see the effort you have put into this, and I want to congratulate you on the enchanting story you have written.
If you were ever to consider being an author, I'd back you up all the way.
Well done, and I do hope that you update soon, I eagerly await the next chapter and the completion of this story.

Dear Trinity Destler,

Is it possible for you to let us fans of this fic know if you are continuing or not? This is one of my favorite stories to read and and check on it every other day to see the next possible chapter. I am especially looking forward to the ancient Egypt arc. I am a strong supporter of Yugi/Yami relationship and I want to know how their relationship developed after Yami found out about Yugi being a young man and not a woman as he was led to believe. So, please update if possible or at least let us know the status of the fic.

Thanks Maze

This story is so brilliantly amazing. Please, I beg, update soon. This is honestly one of, if not the, best Yu-Gi-Oh story I've ever had the pleasure to read. Thank you.

It must be a shock, thinking that what you thought you were was a lie, what connection you thought you had with someone isn't even there.

I hope you update this soon, this is a really good story.

I liked this chapter, I think it was fine. I definitely wasn't expecting Yugi's father to be that stupid, but I seriously think he's out of his mind in one way or another--conventional insanity or being controlled by some outside force.

I'm not, however, surprised at the necromancers. I expected something like this to begin with, and I still suspect that the burnt necromancer in the Shadow Realm was Syret.
