I was shocked to see an update alert but very happy. Even though it's been a while I haven't forgot about this story; it's still easily in my top five of favorites. But I totally understand how life gets in the way of writing--for me it's usually work!

I however don't think you are rusty at all. The established characters were still very much in voice and I'm still liking Dallas and her fish out of water situation that is going on. I'm very intrigued as to what Aereon is refering to and what she has planned. She's such a tricky lady!

Riddick is...Riddick. I could totally see him analyzing what has happened so far and wanting to slip back into old habits. Be in charge of everything again and wanting to not think about Dallas. It's like he doesn't want to care (especially now after the Kira situation) so he figures he can just make himself not care. That he can shut down his emotions cause he's so badass.

This story is awesome and this chapter was great. So happy that you're gonna be working on it more, even if it takes a little while. I can't wait (but I will patiently hehe) to see what happens.

So excited that you updated! Great chapter and I think that you made the right choice by having him revert to his more brutal self here. It would be strange for him to just change completely overnight.

I'm hoping that Dallas also works through her pity party phase too though, I mean, I know she's jumped through time but it's time to adjust or risk dying. Maybe they do need to be apart for a bit for them both to readjust and come to terms. I'm hoping that Dallas does begin to *like* him though, come to understand him better and not just see a beast. Riddick probably needs to miss Dallas before he accepts that he wants to change for the better, maybe realize that he cares for her emotionally. A little bit of jealousy on his part wouldn't hurt either, realizing you're jealous means you actually care about the person.

Anyhoo, thrilled you updated, please continue writing and congrats on the baby!

And I celebrate the fic refresh, dalla's refreshment. This soup opera is really good, perhaps you only have to make it darker like tarantino's think or some other dark novels.
The riddick's universe is cruel, dark and cold and the people is looking for love, hapiness, peace too like us but without our limitation in places, tecnologies, religions, races, planet and such. Maybe dalla's could be the ligth in the riddick's personal darkness. I don't know, maybe I'm a incorregible person who believe that love can make the change..

So, whatever you decide to write i'll be happy to read it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this story! Dallas is awesome, she's tough but compassionate which is something I think Riddick could use. I'm eager to see what her powers are and how her and Riddick's relationshiip progresses! I know it's been a while but I hope you starting writing and updating soon!

This is such an amazing story! I know you haven't updated in a long while but I had to review anyway cause it's totally awesome! I've been on a sci-fi kick lately and this is just tops. The canon characters are so IN canon and I like Dallas, she's fiesty hehe.
