It's sad that Hayate died, he really was kinda cool and this fic just portrays the friendship the chuunin examiners have for each other. I give you a five and a half thumbs up. (Don't ask about the thumbs...)

I like how you ended it with Anko thinking that Hayate would be okay as oppose to Big Forbording Feeling. Ninjas aren't phophets afterall.
