Can't sign in, but this 'story' is still absolutely brilliant. I love the concepts behind it, its textbook style, but soft manner, the phrases used. In particular I loved the word 'theocracy'. Sheer genius.

Having not read your other work, I don't understand the stuff about Peter Joyce and Arthur Shire. Is Elizabeth Boreal a canon character and if so/not, how did she cause Lyra's death?
