Finally! I find a fanfic about Severus in which he isn't in love with Lily! Not that I mind, but I do get tired of it. And how come it seems to be a favorite of authors to say that Severus smiled genuinely for the first time in ages or something similiar? Anyway, now that I've lost my temper and all... I really liked that. A lot! Or in other words, "That was cool!" Oh, and I liked how the song added to the story. It fit very well.

Your timeline seemed a little off, having Snape turn back to the good guys after Voldemort's initial defeat by baby Harry, but I suppose facts aren't what matter in a vignette. This was beautifully written; unlike many songfics I think the lyrics add a lot to the piece. Good fic. :D
