Wow. It is a very good piece, miles ahead of the tons of junk that's tossed in this section every day. I'm glad I found this fanfic, thanks to the author.

This took me a while to read all of this. Despite a few errors that involve the show, this was really good. I don't know if you were writing this based on the anime or the manga, I've heard that anime is always just a little bit different than the manga.
Normally, I don't read fics that don't have any dialogue in it but I made an exception because Yamcha's my favorite character and there aren't very many good fanfics about him out there('good' as in 'in his favor', instead of bashing him).
There were times where it got a little slow and boring but other than that and what I've said above, this was a really good story.

This is one of the best stories I've ever read. Seriously. I especially love the Yamucha characterization. It's hard to find good fics about him, since he's not really one of the mains.

Kinda wierd. but I liked it! I haven't read anything like this style before! One or two things I think were wrong for the series... But they were changed for the better or maybe it was from the manga. i heard it's slightly different to the series.

Ohmygod. This story is really really awesome. You filled in the gaps great. Mr.Toriyama has a horrible habit of forgetting charaters completely, and you did a good job giving the characters credit. There are a few inconsistencies with the series but you explained them away. I hope the rest of your stories I haven't read yet are as good as this one!

*Stands up applauding, and doesn't plan on stopping for a few weeks.* Awesome stuff. I am very impressed. Yamcha is such a cool character, and it's nice to see someone give him justice. This story and Tim3's "Kururin:only human" seem almost like brother stories, and they both give each character justice. Only one thing, and it is silly and trite, but you say that Krillin lost to Goku in both of the first Budokais. This is not true. Krillin defeated his first opponent in the first tourney, and then lost to Roshi in round two. Dunno, just a silly little continuity thing. Awesome story, again. I read this whole thing in one sitting. (My back and neck ache from sitting here) I am truely impressed.

You know I really like how you have everyones ages it helps the reader understand where the characters are coming from.

Though I have to say I find the references to er our world irritating, I'm not sure why. Having said that with the way you've written this fic it probably wouldn't work so well without them.

The explaintion of Yamucha's feelings and view of Vegeta is very well done and accurate I think. It's the same with the senshi meeting Gohan, that is very well done too. The little reminders about each character's history help explain their behaviour. Like the one about Krillen, reminding us he was a monk. It's important and it helps the story imensely. In that it helps make their actions easier understand.

The whole ghost thing oh I do like that.

I don't know that theres really anything wrong with the whole fic it's self, it is very good and I think as reallistic as it can be, considering where it's set. In character too, that helps a lot as well. There is the odd tiny niggling thing here and there but I suspect alot of that comes down to my personal views. It's not grammer or spelling, just those little things that you pop in now and then that do occasionally interupt the flow.

The whole story is really, really good and that is why it's one of my favourites, the little stuff is just that.

I hesitated before reading this.. because it is Yamucha, but i'm really glad i decided to. It's really great, and i'm dying to read more.. but it's waay past bed time already and i really need to get some sleep...

I'm so happy I found this again! I read it years ago and it has always been my favorite Yamucha fan fic of all time. I'm going to take great pleasure in reading it all over again, thanks for writing such a wonderful story. :)
