aw, that so successfully captured the quiet moment with tess being all accepting and ready to leave and she's all humanish and sweetly sadly * and it's SO tess-sympatheic in a completely logical and plain way which is perfect and fits just right and i never thought that she might think to move in with michael. Huh. Then maria cld empathise a little more with liz, and/or she can do that crazy suspicious thing again, and apart from michael occasionally agreeing with tess & practicing his powers with her and stuff, what did they *have* exactly..? Were they even friends, did they even talk, or did they just accept each other as fellow soldiers and semi-relations? How KEWL wld it b if there *were* a story where tess *did* move in with michael after valenti got fired & kyle spoke his speech, bcoz instead of him being all goofy cute & "I kinda thought u were part of the family I was trying to protect" or wot have u she cld have fled in the night to michael's place, all trying not 2 let her eyes leak in human weakness and then she & the mickster will be FORCED to bond and how funny is it that whenever some girl comes to him and openly admits they're in trouble, he's all huggy and caring and stuff? But any how, it cld even just b for a few days, so that kyle can hang around all not trusting michael and 'yeh, i know ur with maria but i *heard* about the courtney thing..' and ! y'know, while he's trying to apologise to tess and explain that she's his family but maybe she's not able 2 keep a face straight enough 2 c him after a week or so, yeh that wld b SUCH a good fic! Good idea! Can't WAIT 4 u 2 post it! Of course, it'mite want 2 b a little more light-hearted than this fic, but it's still good!

Wow... to be completely honest, this story has been on my mind for days... I think it was the "I didn't review right away" guilt. Completely inspiring and extremely well written. I like how you took this story and told it all from inside Tess. No other character interactions, no dialogue. Very well done, and thank you for sharing with us.

I was pleased with your great talent for detail in this fic. The descriptions of Tess' movements and sensations were pictoral, and almost real in a sense. I found myself watching this story instead of reading it. It was well written. I give you my highest regards and commendations; that's not something easily squeezed out of me. *g* I liked how Tess felt she had to hold back her feelings and tears, all the while suffering from an immense pain.

I also am impressed with the ending. I love it. It's strong and definitively finnishes the story. I can see it wasn't meant for length, and it is written well enough not to need a long epilogue or continuation.

My only critisism would be that I was confused as to whether the pictures and images she pressed into her book were normal pictures. I wasn't sure if they(the pics) were a power that Tess had developed to place moving memories in her book, or she had just been snaping photographs over a spance of time. This is the only thing that I thought could have been done better.

I would encourage you to keep writing and improving the skill that you have developed. Good luck!

This story was beautiful. It gave every detail in such a way, I felt as if I were there. It showed the dramatic side of Tess and Kyle's relationship. They way you portrayed her feelings about him, reflect the way she acts around him on the show perfectly. It was just beautiful.Lioness
