I can't believe I've only just now read this one! I've been going through a lot of fics in my inbox, trying to clear it out finally. I've been away from the internet for a while now and am trying to catch up on everything. Unfortunately, this site was the last for me to do... *shrugs*
But! I wish I had read this sooner, and your other, I assume. I sorry!
I really enjoyed this chapter, though. I actually feel very sorry for Draco. I hope (and assume) that the cure hasn't already been used! I mean, there is no other way for Draco to live. I actually do agree with Snape's character in this. I think that he would act differently than normal seeing Draco in this condition, not knowing if he would actually live or not. I also like how you had Hermoine be so unsure of herself and why she's actually feeling the way she is about Draco since it would be so unusual... to this extent. ^^ However, I do feel it's odd for Dudley to act like that... I mean, for him to apologize like that. If ya know what I mean...
Anyway, update soon! I want to know how things are going to play out, to see if they're going to be able to get the sword!

It’s great how you have constructed the character of Snape to be so caring towards Draco. I love that Fred and George are in the order and have a pivotal role to play.

Once again I must commend you on your wonderful story lines. They remain true to the HP series but also have your unique ideas woven into them.

I’m glad that I have the time to read some of your work. I’m currently in my semester 1 holiday that lasts for 3 weeks. In Aus our school year starts in Jan and is broken up into 4 terms. The terms are then grouped. Term 1 and 2 make up semester 1 and so on.

It’s also great that you are so knowledgeable about the going-ons of Malfoy manner (it comes across as truly authentic) and your knowledge about the properties of the sword. That was incredible and reeled me in good. LOL

I have to ask… why is this your least favourite of all of your HP fics? I think that the ideas are constantly brilliant and the flow of the story is beautiful. I’m actually enjoying it more than ‘One step at a time’.

Great build up in tension and the way you describe the Malfoy manor is the same as what I imagined it would be.

Fun fact: So Australia is famous for its beaches. I don’t know if you’ve heard of the Gold Coast? It’s home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I live about an hours drive away. So something that I want to do before I die is learn how to surf (of course at the GC)! But I’m a pretty lousy swimmer.. haha
