Wow, very interesting kinda-sorta-semi AU. I really like Jean Grey's new profession, and her personality in this fic is very interesting. It rings true to me, because she seems rather like she'd be this type of person if she'd stopped superheroing early on. Maybe it's just because she's a gorgeous redheaded bombshell Perfect In All Ways viper woman. I always suspected the X-Women to be a little, I dunno, overly *aware* of their gorgeousity. I dunno. But the characterization intrigues me. And why the shields, Henry McCoy? This is a cool little glimpse into an intriguing world, and the dialogue is collected and interesting. I want more!
