Laura-trekkie 2005-03-06 ch 1,	abuseI really felt for Don, he sort of got swept up in the Mac-whirlwind and never really got a chance to draw breath until it was too late and he was in love :(. Meanwhile, Mac hasn't even got passed the 'Flack' stage! I don't really think it's missing anything as such, but maybe if it had been a little longer you could have drawn out the angst a bit more. This is the first fic I've seen with Mac and Flack as the pairing (though that's not really saying much as I only started reading CSI: NY slash yesterday!) I hope you will write more.
Lament 2004-12-18 ch 1,	abuseI love the dynamic you've created. I can totally see Flack as the one to wear his heart on his sleeve. I also like that you started the story as Flack is confronting Mac. That drew me right in. As for what it's missing...well, the dynamic here is really good, and you could really get a lot of drama from it. So, maybe when you write another story for this pairing (which I hope you do), you could slow it down a little and let us see more of how the relationship affects Flack. The last paragraph, for example, is really loaded...the idea that Flack is still willing to give it one more chance, but he winds up getting burned. I know I would enjoy it if you pumped up the angst!
