transiency 3/15/11 . chapter 1Ay this was fantastic. Just no words. A very enjoyable read. |
 Kiski 9/16/09 . chapter 1I like this.
It brings out the quiet, eccentric morbidity we all see in Seto Kaiba. I've never seen anyone do that in such a short piece. |
JustALittleFan 3/29/09 . chapter 1I must’ve read this story through about three times now. Each time I catch something that just makes me love it even more.
You have a wonderful writing style and keep in character the whole time. The way you described actions were wonderful and very accurate. I adore this, it is simply marvelous.
Congratulations on such a well written piece. Thank you for posting it.

Yma 9/6/06 . chapter 1Oh I like that, accurate and beautifully characterised. Better still, beautifully characterised with Seto who is a difficult character to write, I imagine. Because it's so tempting to soften him, but you can't because although he is technically one of the 'good guys,' he is also a complete and utter bastard. Right to the very end.
Loved the characterisation of Mokuba too, though I did feel very sorry for him you gave him a slight edge of hardness which worked. Excellent story! |
The Maine Coon Cat 2/22/06 . chapter 1Very nice. I love! Wonderful writing, perfectly in-character, and interesting. I'm faving this! |
The Wicked Witch of Dingl 2/16/06 . chapter 1Aw... sweet |
 Ramen-teh-Mighty 1/19/06 . chapter 1Wow! That was amazing!
I'm not good at reviews but WOW! It's going to my favorites. See? I just checked the box!
Good! Okay! Cool! |
Xan 12/29/05 . chapter 1 *tears* Not sure exactly why but I started to cry when I read this. Very nice. Loved the repititon it worked very well. Nice little snipped of their lives. *squeezes Mokie* ;-; |
The Mad Poet 10/16/05 . chapter 1I'm a confessed Kaiba fan.
I mean that, not in the 'oh my god he's so hot e' fangirl kind of way but in the way that his issues fascinate me with what probably constitutes a little morbid excess. I like to analyze him, and I like to see him analyzed-turned over, twisted, examined, pulled open. Because he's. . .complicated. Mokuba's always been the best microscope to examine him under I think. But a lot of people ignore all of that.
You didn't. And I appreciate that. I hope it's not my bias here saying that this is a wonderful snapshot of that slightly skewed relationship, and captures both the individuals and the collective interaction just beautifully. I can't think of a single other writer who could of pulled this off quite so.
Lovely.
And hoo-rah for the Hyatt reference. |
Hope Wheeler 10/1/05 . chapter 1Very nice work! I love exploring the relationship between Seto and Mokuba, and your characterization of both of them is very good. You can tell that Mokuba really wants to do more, but his respect, and something like fear holds him at a distance. And yet, somehow, he is able to bring his older brother back to the real world at the just the right time.
I love this, and I really hope that you update soon! |
 WallofIllusion 8/14/05 . chapter 1Wow.
This is so perfect! (Don't laugh at me if it doesn't take html -_-'')
So... so... wow. Onto my favorites at once. |
mixedxsmile 8/5/05 . chapter 1I won't compare you to Misura, because I think your style is very unique and fresh. Comparisions are for when the writing styles are identical (my strange logic!) Besides, it's not nice to compare when you can find the greatness in both.
Neat story. You should really..really..really write an orignal fic and use the characterization you use here. It would be a bestseller. Or something like that. Seriously.

Lyrical Rex 4/3/05 . chapter 1That was so cute. I read the review who said it would be hard to pick who was better, you or Misura. It truly is! I love your writing style, and I like the last couple lines:
Quote:
Seto never slouched.
And Mokuba was a little glad, because it made measuring himself against him a bit more accurate.
Very sweet. :D |
 Garowyn 4/3/05 . chapter 1Excellent work. |
benign sadist 3/8/05 . chapter 1You can write. I don't know where you've been all this time, but you can write. I love the way you characterize everyone and make them all come to life, not just here but in your other Mai-Jou one-shot as well.
...I just wish you wrote more YGO fanfics. |
