Anywho, Chouji/Shika has always been a bit of a "eh, convince me." pairing for me. Perhaps 'cause I used to be a bit of a die-hard Shika/Temari shipper until I got into slash.

But boy, you convinced me. I though I wouldn't be convinced, but towards the end...oh you got me! I'll have to read a few other similar fics to really settle into this ship, but I'm on it, and the view is wonderful. ^^

I particularily like the part were you mentioned Shika getting worried over Chouji getting thin. I could picture it, and it's so sweet.

i love this fic. i almost skipped over these, bad me. that's about as coherent as i can get about it. thanks so much for posting it.

Though I'm not a fan of this pairing, I thought this was extraordinarily well-written. A very-interesting take on Shikamaru and his psychology, and Chouji as caretaker was simply adorable.

Well, this was an unexpected pair. It was still pretty good though.

I'm looking forward to your future work.
