Very interesting concept, I'm liking it so far. GippalYuna is an unusual pairing, and I'm not opposed to it, but you've made it a little abrupt I think - it would have been nice to build up a little more interaction between them first. I also thought the start of this chapter was a little choppy, from Highbridge to flashback to desert; a bit more exposition would have made it work a little better.

These are all nitpicks, though - overall I like it a lot and look forward to seeing more!

Ok. I think u really got Gippal's character right, but the thing I dont like (please no offense just stating my feelings) is the whole Gippal Yuna thing happenen. I mean its not that i want Gippal to go with Rikku (which im actually a fan of) but I really dont think yuna's character is truelly in order i mean judging how much she really loves tidus and all. Im really sorry bout it, Its a so far good and intrusting story; I just...C'mon YUNA and GIPPAL!

I'm really enjoying this fic so far. It's a clever idea and your portrayal of the characters is spot on. (I also thought the addition of the Spiran equivalent of the expression "Christ on a bike" was a nice touch *laughs*)

One thing on the second (fourth?) read-through... “Who wants their tummy rubbed?” Perhaps should be "Who wants his tummy rubbed?" That's kind of picky, but that's a linguistic difficulty - whether you want to adhere to old standards of pronoun usage or if you want to forge ahead and stake your claim that "their" is a singular neutral pronoun. Eh. Picky picky.

This is very... interesting, for lack of a better term, I suppose. I love most fics that have Gippal, and this one is already no exception. Yup, you don't come across to many fanfictions these days where they're actually GOOD. (Yeah, my favorite story list may beg to differ, maybe but...)

ANYWHO! I am going to be watching this fic, and waiting for an update. Seriously! I need to read good fanfictions of Gippal so then I can write my own!
