Tipix 2005-05-14 . chapter 1Outstanding. I simply ADORE your works. I think any author should be proud to have you writing Fanfiction on their books. |
Avalon Estel 2005-04-09 . chapter 1This was a lovely, poignant piece that almost had me in tears. I loved the poem, and the fact that one of the soldiers carried it... Faramir was one of my favorite characters, because he hated war, as I do. Amazing. Simply amazing.
And about Arabic poetry - I've read a few of them, and find them lovely. Yours was a beautiful poem, and reflected them wonderfully.

P.S. - Thank you for reviewing "Lament"! |
 Archaic Scribe 2004-12-27 . chapter 1Simply beautiful.
You show us that sensitive poet that clearly lingers in Faramir, son of the insane Denethor, a man how harbored little, if any love, for his least favorite son, Faramir.
*Sighs* Lovely. Nice job. |
Nelja 2004-12-22 . chapter 1It's very beautiful! I like both the poem and Faramir's reaction. |
kingmaker 2004-12-21 . chapter 1Nice bit of eastern-sounding poetry, and I like the tie-in to the 'War will make corpses of us all' speech. |
 Aislynn Crowdaughter 2004-12-21 . chapter 1Hi, Werecat,
this is a beautiful poem, and I liked Faramirs aperance and role in this ficlet very much. It gives a face to the Haradrim and gives a real good addendum to Faramirs words in the movie that he dead Haradrim had loyalties and beliefs, too. Gretly done!
Greetings to you,
Aislynn |
