I like but I am a little confused. Does that mean that the one that they meet is actully more than one of them? COuld you maybe clear up the endiing of this story? Otherwise I like a lot it clears up many things.

Hm. That is a very interesting take on the child. So, each time something happens to Phoenix, her alternate counterpart absorbs the dying one, gaining the memories and such of each timeline? She would have to be a tramautized creature...living with all the pain that builds up and up, layer by layer...what's going to happen when she can't take it anymore? All of that power...she's going to create A LOT of damage and take out A LOT of people in her demise...but then, will she ever become non-existant, being a 'phoenix' reborn? Phoenix is the epitome of a tragic character-Shakespeare couldn't have created such a deep and complex characterization. A Very thought-provoking chapter, Larania. Ya floored me once again. _
