I really enjoyed this. I love your characterisation of Merry.

Don't know if you're still posting, Baylor, but wanted to let you know how much I've loved your work since I started reading and writing fanfiction myself.

It isn´t easy for Merry to introduce a new custom to the Shire, but finaly it spreads. A lovely story.

“Thank you, Merry,” Berilac said dryly. “I’ll let you explain to his mother where he learned that.”

I love it. Ah the thought of Merry being a playa is just hysterical. I love the way you take their personalities and add details to them that are plausible but rarely thought of.
