This is an excellant story. Written incredibly well. I've had a very hard time closing the story when time grew late.

Again, lots of lovely touches. Poor Perrin, getting only clothes for Christmas... I remember how much that sucked when I was a kid. Of course, the owl probably made up for it. No toys or Wizarding Wheezes though? For that matter, what ever happened to the Weasleys? Wouldn't they visit Harry at the holidays? I'll have to go back to your earlier sagas to refresh my memory. The mix of spells on the mistletoe was nice and I must add that the Christmas decorations sounded beautiful and made me wish it was December already.

So many special bits as always! Can't wait for the owl to meet the other residents of the Snape-Potter suite. Don't owls eat snakes? Of course, I always picture Horatio as really big...

Poor Perrin! Tony certainly is an evil man and apparently a cunning one as well; a dangerous combination. It's very sad to see Dumbledore deteriorating so swiftly. I love this story, just as I've loved all the ones that came before. This is a spectacular series and you are a truly talented author. Thank you.

I really enjoyed the part about Horatio and the kitties, though I don't think they would have curled up among his coils (wouldn't snakes have cool skin?). Anyway, Horatio's always been my favorite fanfic snake, and I read a ridiculous amount of HP fanfic.

Your idea of the wizarding version of a funeral was both original and touching. Also, it reminded me of what I forgot to add to my review of the final chapter of Epithalamium - are we ever going to read about Dumbledore's death? It sounds morbid, but I had been looking forward to it. I assumed that it would be included in Epithalamium because the very beginning of the story mentioned that it wouldn't be a happy one. Anyway, I would very much enjoy reading your portrayal of Albus's passing. It would bring a sense of closure for me.

Purely wonderful, this chapter. The beginning with Severus and Dumbledore interaction was funny and heartwarming at the same time. The ending with the vision of the comfortable home, at least in the animals' case, made me go 'aw'. *lol*

A wonderful chapter. I love the way Severus and Perrin keep bonding, and I love the idea of Perrin being adopted by Harry & Severus. I'm looking foward to finding out what past traditions they find regarding married teachers with student children living at the school. I can't believe that in a thousand years it hasn't happened several times before. I hope the other teachers don't give them too much trouble.
