It's hard to make a coherent narrative out of so many challenge lines! I like your exploration of Sofia's motivations, and especially her dialogue with Warrick and his willingness to explain things to her. And Greg on Sara's side is always a bonus!

I've been hoping that you'd give Sophia more depth, though I don't particularly think you were given much to work with on the actual show itself. Nice to see it be Warrick who is doing the 'standing behind' Sara. I really think Warrick and Sara have an interesting, depth-filled relationship. I think you've done well with having to stay within the confines of new lines each week.

Nice treatment of Sophia, and getting into what she's all about. Nice that Warrick didn't let her get away with her pity me stuff too.

Nice chapter :) I don't really agree with the reason Sofia gave for the reason she doesn't play nice with others, exactly for the reason Warick gave her - Sara was in the same situation and she's nice ;) But maybe now she'll be nicer...

I missed this story, must have somehow knocked you off my alert list. I am enjoying this story, and you are keeping the folks mostly in character. I'm not sure about Sophia, will you be bringing her back into the story at some point? I like how this last chapter worked, and how Grissom finally started owning some of his own issues. (And there are plenty of things that Sara can eat at McD's djkitty. Cinnamon buns, fruit and yogurt parfaits, ours even have cereal and milk, at least they did at one point, and do have veggie breakfast burritos.)
