Valiowk 2006-03-28 . chapter 1This is simply awesome work for a drabble!
I wonder, I really do, what he feels in that moment. Wretchness, despondency, jealousy, or simply hopelessness at the knowledge that he may well live a lie for the rest of his life?
But I think, even then, all will turn out well. Because, at least, she is willing to give him a chance. And sometimes, that is enough.
But then, I am ever the romantic. ;) |
Scribbler Extraordinare 2005-02-22 . chapter 1 I like it! This is kinda weird since i'm a diehard Eowyn and Faramir shipper, but i thought it was well written if a little short. You might consider a bit more imagery and detail. The ending phrase is very profound. |
Xedra 2005-01-01 . chapter 1Very good... and disturbing... but in that disturbingly good way. I like the pairing of Eowyn and Faramir... if she can shake Aragorn out of her head (and let's be honest, *that* ain't easy )... but I like what you did here. |
Earendil Eldar 2004-12-28 . chapter 1One has to wonder. She really seems like such a flake, especially in the books. If i were Faramir, i wouldn't be able to rest easy. |
shie1dmaidenofrohan 2004-12-27 . chapter 1In all honesty, I can't say I like it, because being the hard-core F/E shipper that I am, I really do tend to think they had a happy life together. But this was very well-done; you conveyed something very powerful, especially with so few words. Great work! |
Pachelbel 2004-12-27 . chapter 1At which point, Pachelbel smiles very slightly to herself. *glomp* I /love/ Eowyn/Faramir angst! It's amazing how much you can put into only 100 words (how do you do it?!) |
Hobbity 2004-12-27 . chapter 1Ooh. I think this was both beautiful and uncomfortable- I also love the fact that you made it so Faramir didn't just ignore the fact that Eowyn was so infactuated with Aragorn, which most people do. I wanted to make sure that you got a positive review for something so bitter- I wrote a dark Faramir-esque thing and I was met with some hostility.
Anyway, this was lovely. |
