man, they're really cute, Maybe even cuter than Timon and Myla.
I tried my best to to cute it up too much with them, you could over-do it with those characters and it would seem corny.
With Ma and Zaz though, it works.
Now on the ne next chapter!

I just breezed through 3 chapters, and already I love this!
The idea is beyond cute. While I love Zazu and Binti from Narfy's Memiors Of a Bluebird, and I like the name I made up for Ma (Kavie since Julie Kavner does her voice), I really like this idea too.

I know what a perfect sequel might be to "never too old, never too different"... Remember Makalo and Kande? Since they were mentioned so little in this story I thought in the sequel the primary plot might be that somehow their parents died and then Zazu and Maha adopted them and then later on in the story they find a lost baby bird and decided to adopt it? Think about it, zazu finally has an adopted son of his OWN species and loves him to death! Only to find out it's the long-lost son of the new major-domo bird and his mate of Pride Rock! Call this sequel , "Wings of Change" since life changed for zazu and all... And then a new "threat" at pride rock comes, who might just be the SAME lion that killed Makalo and Kande's parents! It could be a lion that Simba or Nala knows or something to add spice to the story! Hope I gave u some ideas! Good luck!

Aw, how cute! I had been hoping that Zazu would decide to go with Ma. The conversation between Zazu and Rafiki was good; I especially like the part where Rafiki throws him off Pride Rock!

I hope you think of another story idea, whether it's a continuation of this one or something completely different.

P.S. I'm about halfway through writing chapter 3 of "The Search for Timon."

ya know, when i first read the summary, i thought, well, this is going to be interesting. but it actually turned out to be a story i really enjoyed. i loved your cute lines. i also loved rafiki's conversation with zazu! i absolutely loved that line "no need to be so violent." i especially am looking forward to seeing a sequel from you of this story. well, until then, see ya! and if you do decide to do a sequel, you can be sure i'll be reading it.
