You captured both their friendship and their need to be together so perfectly, that it's almost spine-tingling. It's almost as if you're saying, "Yeah, they're really just the best of friends" but at the same time saying beneath, "But nobody really can tell the other connection they have, the second relationship". To me, that was implied beautifully - because, well, their relationship(s) IS like that.

This is really good. Wonderful exploration of Chrno (thanks for spelling it that way btw) and how and why he acts the way he does. Both he and Rosette are perfectly in character. The piece flows nicely. I like how you start it with all the things that are cold then Rosette's there and there's some warmth in his life. From there everything goes natrually. The last line gets me every time. So very true and so very sad.
