I'm not an avid reader, in fact i rarely read anything other than the newspaper, i've only ever read one book and i'm not even a big Lord of the Rings fan, i've only seen one of the films (the one with Grima in whatever it's called) and yet i've just read the *whole* thing, all 21 chapters in one sitting! I just *had* to know what happened! Love it love it love it! Thank you Auri for writing it. Right, i'm off to read your other stories...

That was most definitely the best (and longest) Grima/Eowyn story I've read! I wish there were more long ones. I havent found many. I look forward to more stories!!

Again, my apologies in the delay for reviewing. I think that no matter how much the people love Eowyn, they would definitely be suspicious of Grima, probably believing him to have bewitched her as well. But they’ll see in time. Nice addition of Eowyn having the dreams of Theoden and Merry. “You could not have changed the outcome.”—and neither could you, my dear. Of course, we know that but I hope that she realizes that it doesn’t matter and is able to deal with the guilt. Loved this line: “but to know that you had fallen, and that we had not saved you, would have destroyed us. You are a beacon of hope – to us all.” The scene with the rider delivering news was so good—I could just see him excitedly telling Eowyn that Minas Tirith was saved. Grima wrote their tale—very nice. Perfect: “All this time you have been writing?” “Such is my gift, and ever my task.” Yeah, I agree Eowyn about the oddity—Gandalf and Grima that close together physically and amiably. And the ending was absolutely wonderful. You rock! This was such a great fic and so well-written and thought out. I wish there were more writers like you posting.

Just a quick note in response to your review reply about my dislike of Grima/Eowyn pairing. I don’t like it mainly because it’s never well done and never convincing. But the reason I read your fics is because your storylines make the difference. Yeah, I get the ‘that’s not right’ feelings about it but I’m a Grima fan and I love stories that are well-written despite the pairing.

the story was very romantic. i loved that Grima ans Eowyn could be together. it's a very sweet story.

I love it. I love it! I LOVE IT! I am glad you went with the happy ending. Everyone needs a few warm fuzzies in their life. This is a great, long, in depth story of superness.
