Despite the fact you say you despise Leia, you manage to write her exceptionally well and true to the movies; you've got the classic "feisty female" down pat. Han is a delight too - he's the classic panicker he always is. I think that the story would be strengthened by the addition of some emotional reflections from each of them, allowing you to explore the nature of their relationship to a greater degree than you are now. But, I do like this a great deal!
