Interesting, although I do believe Hatori was kinda OOC. I like the ending, though. Pretty good for something made at 3 in the morning.

This was pretty good. Aya is definitely in character . If you'll allow, I'm just going to point out a few things:

After Kana’s memories were erased, he started smoking his regular amount, which was half a pack a day. Of course, feeling dreadfully alone, he started to smoke 1 pack. Not only did he give up, but he got worse.

That reads a little weirdly. It's not customary in English to put counting numbers instead of spelling them out, when you're writing a story. The "he started... smoke" sound is repeated and they're pretty close together, it sounds awkward.

“Thanks guys,” he said, giving them both a small smile. “I feel a lot better now.” Shigure and Ayame gave him a smile back, while also feeling like they made a huge accomplishment. Hatori rarely smiled since Kana was forced to forget about her relationship with him. Knowing they made him feel better, and even smile, made them feel better, as well.

Sounded kind of sudden for Hatori to just start feeling better.
