Though sad, excellent fic! I really liked how the battle went, and the nicknames were creative. Mew was smart, knowing which type of move would be more effective against each opponent, but what do you expect from a Legendary Pokemon such as itself?

Poor little pink-cat... it fought valiently. I was truly shocked when Mew died though... I think the poison did it. Oh, and the poison also made me wonder if the Collector killed himself using Cleopatra's venom when he released it the second time... Those un-explained details that leave speculation can sometimes rock. Nice job!

I know why now young readers cant read it, it even bothered me. nice names for, Umbreon, Arbok and Sandslash, and yuour very imaginative, but pokemon dont die they just get very hurt, but they could die so good job.

OMG! You killed off Mew! Ek! How could you?! It's like, my all time fave Pokemon! But the story was really good! I give it 8 out of 10!

Excellently done. I've seen quite a few "let's go capture Mew" fics, but none written with your skill. The twist at the end was particularly original, and the way that you left it open-ended was quite skillful.

What a shock!

I really like how you've tackled some of the tricker Pokemon moves to describe in fanfics. Anyone can do a thunderbolt or a water gun, but when they came out with Mean Look, Faint Attack and so on, I knew fanfic authors were up for a challenge, and I'm glad you didn't balk at it.

I find the ending only slightly confusing. Why did she (or he?) release Cleopatra at the end? I think the realization of Mew's death comes as a shock as intended, but the ramifications aren't as convincingly expounded, hope you know what I mean.

Anyway, the story's a top idea, if a sad one, and IMHO you developed the idea well.

Interesting. I am a little confused about the poison, though: if that poison is used in other battles, those pokemon don't die, do they?? Or maybe it was a combination.

Still, well written and interesting plotline. I find the ending confusing though, but that's probably just me. Is it that, at the end, the trainer suddenly does care about Mew?
