Okay I have the whole series from Comcast On Demand but a malfunction made me miss eps 10 and 11! Comcastic indeed...anyway this definitly helps me out. I thought she died horribly from an attack but now I know she died peacefully. Great job!

Nic fic! I just finished watching the series--it's really underrated, once you get used to its peculiarities. I literally had my jaw drop open when the grandmother died--although I'd half expected it, what with the graphic bloodshed seen up to that point, but STILL...poor Marin!

Good job with Marin's POV--that's just the kind of thing she'd be thinking about during the exfoced idleness of the bath.

I like how your fic has Melan's viewpoint--he seems so ambiguous in the series in the beginning; we're not sure at that point if he has human feelings at all.

And thanks for editing it--I won't even read misspelled fics these days!

I'm dying to know the lastr bits they didn't tell us--such as, if Marin is the Creis' ANCESTOR, she can't go to Brigadoon (our world in the FUTURE) can she? But Meal seemed pretty firm about wanting to go back, and the series pretty much SAYS they stay together... And who does she have a child with? If it's Melan, they'd probably have to have the help of the Brigadoon geneticists, right? But then her child would be born in the future... Soo confusing!
