this is a nice fic. :) sentimental.

The only thing i would consider changing is the use of *(insert word)*. If you want to put emphasis on something, i would suggest using italics or bolds. Thats all!

Great story! I didn't know that there was Asterix fanfiction here! I'll have to read them but I'll probably have trouble recognizing the characters since I read the series in French. Oh well. Fab story and could you make a sequel to this? I'd like to know what would life be like with Asterix as the druid. Please?

Great story, one of my favorites. Do you think you can do a sequel? I'm asking because I'm a little worried about how Obelix would handle Asterix's new job. You know, since Asterix will not be able to join Obelix on adventures or in beating up enemies anymore...hoo boy.

Also, loved the little extra bit about Obelix still teaching Dogmatix to fetch menhirs, very amusing. XD

This is really sweet and sad, too. I've loved Asterix for years, and I didn't even know there was fan-fiction about him here! Thanks for putting up such an awesome story.

Wow, this is wonderful! I've always loved the Asterix comics because they're hilarious, but you portray those two in a more thoughtful, but no less lovable way - not just comic figures, but real people. Asterix and Getafix are my favorite characters because, like you said, they have the most sense. And the mentor/student or even father/son relationship they sometimes have is really heartwarming.

Squee, Asterix-fic! *happiness* I liked it. A very interesting idea, it never would have occurred to me. And you know how to inject humour into an otherwise serious fic; I've sprained all my stomach muscles doing press-ups, and laughter is painful, but I still cracked up at the "If this is about the menhir that crashed against the roof of your hut this morning..." line.

Doesn't have the same tongue in cheek humour as the comics but understandable given the topic.

I liked this fic,and you did a good job of capturing Getafix's no nonsense approach.

Lastly, I liked the "white robes" quip, trust Getafix to be fussy about the inane things of life!

Heheh... truth to tell, I'm an old Asterix-fan - old school comics somehow are way better than manga. But anyway, I never thought I'd see any Asterix-fanfiction here, so I was very glad to see this one ).

And I think it catches the spirit of the comic quite good. I can really see the village in front of me, and the line about a menhir crashing through the roof of the hut was great ). Good work, I think I'll add it to my favourite stories list .
