Hmm. Sounds good so far, my only complaint being that it's a little short. But first chapters are supposed to be short and suspensive, no matter what people say. BTW, King Dedric's magic community he doesn't know about sounds a lot like Harry Potter-except that the Prime Minister knows about it. (Don't mind me if it sounds like I'm rambling...I do it all the time, even in my fanfics!)
