I was so angry at the end of chapter 11, I was going to stop reading but something made me carry on and by the end of chapter 12 I was laughing and crying like a lunatic! Loved the whole fic, I'm trying and failing to think of words to express how much I've enjoyed it!

But ... ummm ... What happened to Neville?

I loved the ending, really I did, but I was completely confused where he went off to.

But, apart from that one little stumbling block, your fic was pretty much perfect. Incredibly interesting, both the plotline and the writing itself.

i absolutely loved this story... until i got to the four years later part. that is the worst ending. but the rest of it is awesome

That was exellect.

I love this story so far - expect - I thought it was going to deal mainly with Harry and McGongall ... but so far it's mostly Harry and Dumbledore - so you should have put the two main characters as Harry and Dumbledore. But, of course I have yet read the rest of the story ... so it could still be Harry and McGongall.

So I totally take it you are a Harry/Hermione (Hamione) shipper. Hehehehe I'm mostly an Ron/Hermione (Romione) shipper myself. But reading chapter five of this fic I could see Hamione. I'm glad that Harry doesn't want to destroy Ron and Hermione's realionship just because he has discovered he; himself is in love with Hermione. Hopefully Harry will contuine to allow Romione realionship run it's proper coarse.

I love that Aunt Pet. is finally opening her eyes and heart to Harry - I loved how Harry wanted to spend time with his aunt at Christmas - but knew that he couldn't because of his uncle Vernon. I hope Harry and Pet. will have a better realionship towards the end of the story - perhaps even Dudley will come around too - Uncle Vernon can go to the graveyard down below for all I care. He's one evil dude.

I loved Snape's anger towards the beginning of the story - it was so Snape ... and not overdone. I think Snarly (Snape) should have over stepped his boundiers once more and be expelled from Hogwarts grounds - but still remain in the Order and spy on Voldy.

Loved Neville's new wand - just like Harry's ... good job clueing into the born in July having similar wands. Plus Neville was in close running into the true enemy of Voldemort ... so he deserved to have a wand like Harry. I loved the spells that he cast on Malfoy, Crabe, and Goyle ... GO NEVILLE!

I loved Ron and McGongall's chess match. Playing till 3 am and it came out as a draw. Like Harry said - at least Ron didn't lose to McGongall. I can totally see these two have long and interesting chess matches in the future.

Not a bad story written in '05 - I think that HBP was just released ... so you still didn't have DH to refer too for information. The story is a great read and I can't wait to contiune.

OH MY GOODNESS. You COMPLETELY had me going. I was about to hex you for killing off McGonagall. Although it was a nice bit of irony that, instead of Dumbledoore dying in the books, McGonagall died (almost) in yours. The ending was sort of...too sappy. I didn't really like the whole mini harry thing.

Overall, great story!
