i like it! i like how there's a lot of granny in this fic. all the other ones are all tom and polly.

I just read F & H for the first time, and this little story was a lovely capper-offer. I can't comment on whether or not it was disjointed because I need to read the entire book again anyway just to figure out everything that was going on. What I can comment on is the tone and the characterization of Granny, which are very well done.

I think the ending was a bit disjointed, but I enjoyed very much how you put the whole thing together. This was a nice insight into Granny's mind! And I very much liked the references to the tax to hell.

Great stuff, I love this book so it was a treat to find a fanfic based on it.

It's almost as if this was a real missing moment from the book. Great job!

this is another wonderful fanfic. i especially like the bit about "sentimental drivel". another one ill definitly tell friends about.

i loved the fact that you started the story with a quote. and congrats, because you have sucessfully written a granny centryic fic, which makes you the BEST (and only!) F&H fic writer EVER!!

my favorite bit was where the picture of Thomas Whittacker fell off Laurel's dressing table. But i thought that it would have been tom lynn's picture that fell off and not the other tom? oh well. boo to laurel!
