For some strange reason, I've always been intrigued by the possible relationship between Ami and Mamoru. So this story is interesting, let's see what you do with this story.

I might feel silly but I want to thank you for writing this beatiful story. It was so nicely written it made me feel passion and sadness. It had a sertain air to it, I can't really describe what it made me feel. This was beatiful.

You ever heard that song 'Everlong', by the Foo Fighters? For some odd reason, this chapter reminded me of that song. It's kind of old, but try to listen to an acoustic version, if possible.

And your line about the "sweet, clean taste of rain on his tongue"... wonderful. Such wonderful imagery through this whole story. Love it. And Ami always reminded me of my dear Quistis.

I had mixed feelings before I read this story that was in the ami/mamoru pairing list. Normally other stories about them are too OOC. After reading Vespers I am glad I read it. You wrote Ami and Mamoru so well that I almost flamed you because they did not get together in the end. But you are right about one thing, both are too loyal to forsake Usagi. Giving her the stone just screams sequel.

I love the ending, and to be all honest, i feel what Ami was feeling. So i totally connect with it.
