Just like Squall to propose (and what else could be possibly be doing, down on one knee and offering pretty sparkly things in small boxes to his ladylove?) without saying a word. Ah, le sigh... it's pure mush, all right, and of the sweetest sort. My only (tentative) complaint is that it took me a second read-through to get a proper mental image of 'the leg thing'-but once I did, I was even more touched; it speaks of profound emotion on Squall's part.
