Ok, great premise, great characterization, great spelling/grmar.

Unfortunately, the writing style does far too much 'telling' and not enough 'showing' that it's really difficult to get sucked into it. No dialogue, and the emotional quality is absent.

So, while well-written, I wouldn't be able to continue on to the next chapter without reading it like an abstract or tribute to some great awesome idea. Just thought I should let you know. :)

Nice concept for your fic. Just found it by checking someone else's favorites and I'm glad I did.
James, Lily and their arrogant kids - well Michael at least - manage to press the right buttons to peeve me off. So congratulations because it's not easy to do. The Porters have no concept of what any of those in the British Wizarding World had gone through in the second Voldemort War.
Remus, a favored 'uncle' and Draco, the 'brother' that you can always argue with, provide the family that Harry needs to have beyond Severus who is his partner in so many ways. Every one of these men have suffered.
I must admit that killing off almost all of Harry's support system - Hermione, Ron, Neville, the Weasley's and numerous others does make Harry more dependent on those few that have earned his trust.
Unfortunately, real life seems to have bitten you rather hard since it's been a year since you last updated. Hopefully, you get your muse off the Jamaican island and back to work! *grin*
