How annoying of you; you managed to make me have some sympathy for a character I loath. ... well done. Actually more satisfying than the creepy stalker, dweller-below-slimy-rocks, usual portrayals of the P-man. Which always leave me wondering, how blind do those writers think Sam is? Has to be SOMEthing to him, right? Or Selmak would off him, if someone else didn't do the honors.

Pete is maybe not so much of a slimeball; Sarah is cute and definitely not trying to steal Janet's man; Daniel is full of righteous indignation, as he should be; and your Janet, of course, totally rocks! But poor Sam! She'll be better off in the long run, though. In fact, *everyone* will be better off in this scenario, especially because I choose to believe that something about this particular turn of events, though completely unrelated on the surface, has made Janet's death COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE!

I am babbling now, of course, but I'm definitely all about the Sarah/Pete OTP! ;)
