God, this is so sad it almost brigns em to tears. Honestly, why did Xellos have to dies, just when his family started going places. Not to mention what this is doing to Lina. This has forseeable consequences in the interaction between Lina's and Zelgadis' children.

Way to fit the "overprotective brother" template Zelgadis.

Shouldn't Zelgadis have known that were-creatures can regenerate rediculous ammounts of damage? Lina herself earleir cited having fought several were-creatures. Zelgadis must have fought at least one while in the group, and he prefers to use a sword as well as sorcery, so he ought to know how much damage a were-creature can soak up.

Well, besides making me want to skewer Martina on a spear made of her own spine, I have no problems with this chapter. The fact that you made her (what I imagine to be) somewhere around the size of a small tiger suprised me, but I approve. After all, where would all of her mass go if she changed into a normal sized fox. I'm still slightly dissapointed that you stuck with one tail, but I guess you aren't going for the were-kitsune, jsut normal old were-fox.

The transformation was well done. I got enough description to get a very nice picture of what was happening in my head. It was slightly unusual, since most Kitsune's I've seen portrayed outside of Inuyasha have a different number of tails based on their power, with nine being the highest. In that case, Lina would be at least a five or six.

Really really good story

I loved all of the Kitsune stories including the next generation. It is nice to read something that is well written and well scripted.

Pfeh! I say, and Pfhoo! upon those who can not suspend diselief!

Perhaps Lina is a bit ooc regarding her feelings for gourry, but other

than that, the charecterization is not that far off.

Certainly an interesting twist. Although, Lina seems a bit out of character.

Another OOC storyline involving Lina and Xelloss. If you wanted to write a Lina/Xelloss storyline, please don't use Lina since the Lina in your storyline is not the one that appeared in the actual Slayers tv series or the novels or the manga. Next time, just write your own Mary-Sue instead of using Lina for your fantasies. No offense, but given what Lina & Gourry were willing to do for one another in NEXT, Gourry definitely isn't going to be acting as blase as you have him acting in this chapter.
