All I can say is thank you. ever since I read Dogsbody I knew that somehow Kathleen had to end up as Sirius' next companion. I'm so glad that someone wrote it. I think that you did an absolutely brilliant job.

And after all the characters have been through, they deserve it. I still don't understand how Andromeda was alive, though. What happened there?

I really liked the part in first person, with the Master speaking about what had happened. I thought it was really wierd that he felt he had to control her life, but at least he realized he was wrong, and it all turned out okay. And thinking of Kathleen as his daughter was cute.

But especially, I loved the ending scene. That was so beautiful!

Thank you for writing this story. It's one of the only Dogsbody stories out there, and I think I can confidently say that it's both the longest and the best. Great job, and keep writing!

I was kind of hoping for something happier, because the past chapters have been so grueling and suffering, but I guess it was not to be.

So happy. I loved how everything was reversed, and remembered that the Master could control darkness and so could heal Sirius. (And the part about him not being used to emotions, that was a nice touch.)

Interesting, that you had New-Sirius change sides at the last minute- both his death and the Companions were intereting. Good job!

And yay for Kathleen and Sirius! once the fighting is over I'm expecting there to be some fluff- please? ^_^

But that other part, with the Master of the Hunt, that was good. Pretty creative- how did he get off of Earth, though? Oh well. Still good. The Master and Him have got to help and turn this battle around. There's been too much death already.

This is such a delightful story! It's been at least 15 years since I read Dogsbody, so I don't remember it well, but I love the complexity you bring to it. You've really enriched the world (from what I remember) and the characters actually make me care about them - I cried when Andromeda died.

I'm really looking forward to the rest of it!
