 Super-girl-straight-from-hell 3/19/06 . chapter 1lol loved the samon suits! |
The Hermione Granger Fan Club 7/7/05 . chapter 1Absolutely wonderful! I loved everything about this, particularly all the parts with Kitty and her bridesmaids. I was cracking up when they kept doing things like ripping their dresses or losing bits of them, and I loved the part where Rogue gave an inspirational speech with her skirts tucked into her undies!
I just can't find the words to say how much I enjoyed this fic. Just everything about it... all the interactions between the characters were spot on. Especially Roberto and Ray, with their, "Dude, gross." and "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up?" I loved your portrayal of Rogue in particular. One of my favourite lines of hers was "It shouldn't matter whether you have a rabbi, a vicar, or a flippin' naval officer!" I must confess I had to laugh at the part about Tabby and Amara slipping away together. Any femslashy undertones are just A-OK by me!
Beautiful, beautiful, excellent fic. It's going on my favourites list! |
Rift 1/12/05 . chapter 1 actually, a shikseh, is a non jewish woman. calling Ray a shikseh would be kinda odd. Other than thak kick ass story. i swear i have relatives exactlylike some of kitty's. |
todd fan 1/10/05 . chapter 1Great fic. Unusual pairing, loved it! |
me 1/9/05 . chapter 1 Scribbley darling! What a wonderful suprise! Totally unexpected (although suprises often are). Yay for Kitty Ray stuff :) Makes my little heart melt right away. Squee! Lucky Shadow Divachicky.
Poor Kitty, having to deal with the crazy family and their opinions and expectations. What do they think of foulmouth Ray and her guitar-accompanied entrance?
Ohmygod it's really hard to concentrate cause I just watched the ending to that Lizzie Mcguire movie with Hillary Duff? And that song is so catchy damnit! I cant stop singing to it -although there arent that many words to it.
What else did I like about this? Rogue and Scott I guess -lovely characterization on your part Scribbley, you seem to know how to write the characters so well. Like that Ray/Roberto banter -awesome stuff :) Dont know how you do it.
I'd really love to draw more illustrations for your fics, this one in particular -though I'm not sure what I'd do. I think I'd try poor Jamie and Aunt Aggie. At the moment though I'd like my scanner to be fixed even more so that I could *show* you the pics I've already done -like those old OBAB ones? And I've made one for Superman Had it Easy :) Although it's more of like, I dunno a promo? Sigh. We shall cross our fingers I guess
:p Catchya later Scribbley |
UniAniGi 1/7/05 . chapter 1Whoo, what an interesting fic with an interesting pairing. Your friend's got odd tastes in pairings.
I guess Kitty had the final say in everything when it came to what everyone would wear. Salmon-colored tuxedos? Eww... And she got Rogue to wear pink. Although it makes a person wonder, what colors would Rogue choose? Or better yet, what would Tabby choose? I guess it depends on what Amara'd let her get away with. XD Heh, at least with Rogue, the guest list for the bride's family would be relatively small.
Hrmm... Rogue, Danielle, and Amara as bridesmaids, and Scott and Roberto as... whatever they call it for the groom. Heh, Kitty got more assistants than Ray. XD But who was maid of honor, and who was best man? Hah, Rogue is the most gung-ho bridesmaid ever. So entertaining. Kitty, Danille, and Amara got treated to an inspirational speech with her underwear showing. It's hard to take anything seriously from one in such a situation, isn't it? Hmm... I wonder what Kitty's dad thinks of Rogue now. If she's not "the Dipso" I guess she's "the Spazzo". Heh, she's got a funny round-about way of cursing. Liked the bit with her and the Prof at the end, and boy, does she ever have a dirty mind. Notes that Tabby and Amara were missing, sees a flushed Amara, and automatically jumps to that conclusion. Either that, or Tabby and Amara run off far too often. XD
I suppose every family has a black sheep, but Aunt Aggie, sheesh, what a terrifying person. Poor Jamie, poor, poor Jamie.
Hehe... not even an "I do", I wonder if there's gonna be some sort of technicality to arise out of that.
And what the heck are Jubes and Rahne doin' under the table? Hiding out perhaps. I guess I'll never know. Hmm... what kind of trouble can an intoxicated person who can project a person's worst fears can get into? She's gonna end up terrorizing the party guests with visions of Auntie Aggie, I guess. XD
Great fic, and keep up the good work. So until next time, buh-bai! _ |
naughtybit 1/7/05 . chapter 1Ha! Very enjoyable; a wedding fic that could probably slide behind any number of post-post-something-something fics. Oops. That probably didn't make any sense. Aunt Aggie was very frightening. Maybe it's because she reminded me of someone I kinda sorta know. Which, in my family, could be an aunt too. |
xmengirlzrule 1/7/05 . chapter 1OHMIGOSH! This was HILARIOUS! XD Great job! I salute you! |
Psycho-Neurotically Disturbed 1/7/05 . chapter 1Is it bad that I nearly cried from being so totally humored by a story?
Here, you've done it again, with an oddball couple like Kitty and Ray! Overly humorous...
Bravo! |
Meredith 1/7/05 . chapter 1 Actually, it's Yiddish for a goy girl, a non-Jewish female. But *GLOKE* Love the story! |
AshCarroll aka ShadowDiva 1/7/05 . chapter 1Oh. My. *Freaking*. God!
Dearie, I want to glomp you so silly right now. This is the best birthday present ever in a million years! I loved! I was laughing myself stupid the entire time...my family kept giving me odd looks, lol. Thank you so much for the wonderful present! You knew just exactly what to get me. :D |
