I liked it. I don't know why exactly, but I did, and I made it a favorite too.

Whoa, this was really intense. A much darker look on what the Harry Potter books could have been. Really strong narration and a strong voice. Well-written.

I was worried about reading this (if only because it's hosted on ffn), but wow. This is wonderfully done. I love the minimalist approach- showing the pain without going into histrionics or unnecessary drama.

Great story, I could really feel the emotion

i read thousands of fanfictions a year, add countless to my favourites list, but rarely do i ever leave behind a review. i only do that if the work has moved me in some way, and this one moved me so greatly that tears brimmed my eyes. this alternative, this "what could be" of harry's life tightened my chest and mad a pit in my stomach form...beautifully written.

This is interesting, I hope you continue.
