Was reading this while listing to Drowning in Slow Motion by Trivium and wow a powerful peice of work when paired with music like that. Absolutlely beautiful. Brought a tear to my eye :')

well written. you hseem to have a good understanding of their characters, lex especially. mixing his compassion with annoyance perfectly. he would care enough to want her to stop hurting herself, care enough to share his pain with her, but he also has little patience for her self pity. very lex. and you nailed salene in that dark time of her life. it was a short realistic moment and i hope to read more of your stuff
