More! XD !!

I absoulutly love this fic! It's about time someone did a good Zabel story. Can't wait for the next update!

During the Demitri/Talbain fight, I kept thinking about what a detour this was from your usual style. Talbain playing the hero in a fic centered on Zabel? But then you set the record straight by deflating the dreams of countless Gallon enthusiasts, and Belial bless you for it.

From the point at which Zabel enters the chapter on, the usual amusing irreverence of your story is in full bloom. Just when I think you won't be able to top your last crack, Zabel opens his big mouth and I'm laughing all over again.

Can't say I particularly loved the song/poem for Zabel, but I'm no one to talk - I guess, at some point, everybody tries to have a musical interlude, ne?

Speaking of which, we definitely need to get in touch about the Zabel prequel.

Agh! I had actually edited a lot of this, as to make it have more sense, but I guess screwed up and gave the un-edited version, so sorry for the crappy non-sensical chapter instead of the crappy sensical chapter I had intended.

A brilliant mix of hard-edged fighting and uproarious humor. I just don't know how you do it. I'd have to say the funniest part of the whole thing is a toss-up between Zabel's tomfoolery and Le Marta's introspective complaints. Looking forward to more antics from the Zombie King of Makai!

Yay! For a while there, I was worried that you weren't going to continue. Then again, I know how easy it is to get sidetracked (by writer's block, school, work, and life in general). Regardless, I'm glad you're back.

This was a great chapter overall. You're really good at the fight scenes; you describe the attacks well enough that I generally remember which ones (from the game) that you're talking about! As with the last two chapters, you also did a great job emulating Lord Raptor's speech and behavior. To tell the truth, I can't find a darn thing to criticize in this chapter. Keep up the fantastic work, and update as soon as you get the time!

I was actually gonna play along with the email bit, but the addresses didn't play nicely together, so I'll send this the old fashioned way.

On to the review! I've been writing and reading these Darkstalkers fics for over a year, and I always run into three big gripes; either the story has too much exposure to the more "popular" characters, the characters are minus their trademark personalities (reducing them to monster clones of more mainstream characters), or there just isn't enough airtime for my favorite character in the series. Somehow, you've managed to escape all three of these pitfalls by creating a story that pretty much eliminates the presence of most of the more popular characters (excluding Morrigan, for which I won't complain hehehe), keeps every character more or less intact, AND not only has Zabel in it, but focuses on him as the main character. I'm really impressed that you not only were bothered to research the character and make him more than a stupid Ozzy ripoff, but added interesting quirks to characters from the games, such as Jedah acting maniacal rather than pretentious. You rawk!

As in the last chapter, I love how you make L.R. speak and act; it's right on the money! The only thing I see that even MIGHT merit criticism is that you sure are using a lot of page breaks. Most of them are appropriate, but a few of them really weren't all that necessary. That's a super-nit-picky detail, but I just thought I'd throw that in there. KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK!
