Three mates from school since they were wee ones, came in with massive wounds (obviously Iraq) and this poem hit me like a ton of bricks. I really hope you published it somewhere besides fan fic...like a news paper, or magazine. Truly, it's THAT good. Before anyone jumps me about Iraq, no I'm not an agitator. My Dad is a retired General USMC, Knighted for his service to England...and has more scars than Mad Eye Moody, but his sense of God, honour, duty and country along with loyalty and the safety of his men...how could I but cheer our boys on and pray they come home to wives and children and parents in safe harbour?
